Day 1st Arrival -Airport – Leh

Distance/Time Taken : 5 - 6 Km. (30 minutes drive Approx)

Arrival on Leh Airport you will be meeting our representative and drive towards Hotel. Meet & greet at
the airport and transfer to the Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. We recommend you to take complete
rest for the rest of the day to enable yourselves to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude.
Afternoon visit to Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace & Leh Market

Night Stay : Leh, Hotel

Day 2nd : Leh -Sham Valley (11562 i.e. 3524 mts)

Distance/Time Taken : 60 Km. (5– 6 hrs including Sightseeing)

After Breakfast visit Hall of Fame, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill & Sangam View where Indus &
Zanskar River meet. Drive back to Leh.
Night Stay : Leh Hotel

Day 3rd : Leh to Nubra (10000 i.e. 3250 mts)

Distance/Time Taken : 125 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way Approx)

After breakfast at hotel drive towards Nubra valley via Khardungla pass (18350 feet) by surface passing thru
Horzey & Gangles Village. On arrival in Nubra Valley, drive to diskit, visit Deskit, the HQ town of Nubra Valley.
Driving for 30 Kms takes to Khalsar Bridge. Visit desklit monastry. Further drive from Deskit to Hunder, you may
see a few Double Humped, Hairy and Bactrian Camels

Day 4th : Nubra to Pangong (14270 ft i.e. 4350 mts)

Distance/Time Taken : 134 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way)

After breakfast at Nubra valley drive toward Pangong Lake via Shayok . The name Pangong is derived from the
Tibetan word Banggong Co meaning long, narrow, enchanted lake. There is a narrow ramp-like formation of land
that runs into the lake which is a favorite among tourists and photographers. Due to the saltiness in the water of
the lake, there is very less micro-vegetation. There are no fish or other aquatic life in the lake, except for some
small crustaceans. However, numerous ducks and gulls over and on the lake surface can be spotted in plenty.
There are some species of scrub and perennial herbs that grow in the marshes around the lake. On the way visit

Day 5th : Pangong to Leh (13950 i.e. 4250 mts)

Distance/Time Taken : 134 Km. (4 - 5 hrs one way)

After breakfast leave for walk at Pangong Lake, a highest salt water lake in the World, Shared by two countries
India (25%) & China (75%), enjoy the beauty of lake on banks of the lake while appreciating the changing colours
of fascinating high altitude lake. Drive back to Leh
On the way you’ll also explore Shey, Thiksey, Stok & Rancho School.
